The Jack Grant Shield

Jack Grant was the landscape manager in Aden Country Park where the allotments are situated. He played a major part in setting up the allotments.
This Shield is presented anually to the member with the Best Kept Plot.
Judging take place at an unannounced time during the summer with the shield being presented at the open day. Jack retired in 2024.
Winners 2024
The plots were again judged by Keith Gregg who visited the allotments on several occasions during the season to make his judgement.. The winners were announced on 7th September at the Jumper BBQ, the Open Day having been cancelled.

Because of Covid-19 there was no formal judging this year. Instead Paula picked what she considered to be the best plots and selected the the prizewinners by a draw.
